With over 100,000 people employed in the Creative and Digital Sector in the Yorkshire and Humber area, that places the region at the top of the UK table for that sector.

The largest sub-sectors in terms of employment within the region's Creative and Digital Industries are electronics, with 900 companies, and ICT with a massive 5,789 companies; together these employ over 50,000 people split evenly between the two.

Maintaining its position as a major national player while making a substantial '1.35 billion contribution to our economy, the region's print industry plays host to 1,522 companies and around 22,000 employees.

There are also 28 games companies in the region, employing over 500 people, and this accounts for over 12% of the total UK's games employment.

40% of the region's graduates graduate in science and technology related subjects, and 9% of the UK's electronics graduates all graduate from the regions universities.
