Lloyds TSB opens new South Yorkshire office - 10/03/08

Sheffield is to be the home of a new Lloyds TSB office dedicated to business matters.

The hub will see Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets "answering the business needs of South Yorkshire", according to Andrew Aisthorpe, a relationship director with the bank, reports TheBusinessDesk.com.

"We have a strong, highly driven and experienced team working with us - together we're looking forward to strengthening our ties with companies in the region, getting to know new businesses and working more closely with local professionals," he told the website.

Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets states that it offers a number of services to its clients. These are spread across areas such as capital markets, debt and equity finance and international business services.

It works with businesses that have an annual turnover of more than £15 million.

The division also recently launched a new 'real time' online service designed to give its clients "some of the most competitive" exchange rates on the market.

On announcing the new product Lloyds TSB Corporate Markets also said that one in three businesses could be missing out on "e-trading opportunities".
