Restaurants to be refurbished - 12/02/08
Three Yorkshire restaurants are to be rebranded during a ten million pound refurbishment project, it has emerged.
Living Ventures' chain of Est Est Est restaurants are set to be revamped and become the face of two of the group's other brands - Gusto and Blackhouse Grill, reports Business Desk.
Leeds' city centre Est Est Est will become a Blackhouse Grill steak restaurant next month, where as Living Ventures' food outlets in Cookridge and Harrogate are to be refurbished under the 1950s American-Italian theme of the Gusto brand, the article noted.
The Blackhouse restaurants will reportedly specialise in steak dishes but also feature seafood such as lobster and oysters.
Living Ventures' decision to refurbish its restaurants in the Yorkshire region comes as ten of its 15 Est Est Est restaurants are scheduled to be changed to either the Gusto or Blackhouse Grill brands by the autumn.
After being launched in 1999 by entrepreneurial founders Tim Bacon and Jeremy Roberts, the firm achieved annual sales growth of 99.25 per cent between 2001 and 2004 and was named the fastest-growing company in hospitality by the Sunday Times in December 2005.
