Sheffield lawyers team up with colleagues for £64m contract - 11/02/08
A team of Sheffield-based lawyers have teamed up with their London office co-workers to complete a £64 million contract.
Nabarro has taken on the contract to oversee the first phase of the government's scheme to create 16 new secondary schools in Leicester.
The project is part of the government's Building Schools for the Future programme and it is the second multi-million pound deal Nabarro has been awarded as part of this scheme.
Project partner at the firm, Mark Rocca, advised Leicester city council on legal issues surrounding the construction of management of the new schools.
Joanna Bunting of Leicester city council told the Sheffield Star: "The Nabarro team were first class in delivering a workable solution for the council, dealing with the frustrations that arose in what turned out to be a lengthy close process and provided invaluable strengths in steering the project across the line."
Nabarro is a major UK law firm, with offices in Sheffield, London and Brussels.
It has over 125 partners, leading more than 350 lawyers who offer a broad range of legal services to major national and international clients.
